Abstract

Metrics and Targets is a crucial reporting area. In fact, if firms want to communicate properly their exposure towards climate-related risks and opportunities to their stakeholders, they need a solid and forward-looking assessment and quantification methodology. On the other side, for financial markets, this kind of information is very important, as it allows financial services providers to price correctly companies’ assets.

For this reason, research on this topic is being progressively carried on. As it is, the Oxford University has launched a new research project, aimed developing new asset-level datasets that will be combined with new approaches to spatial analysis, scenarios and stress tests.

On October 31st, FEEM, Forum per la Finanza Sostenibile and Nedcommunity will present the Oxford’s Spatial Finance Initiative.

With the participation of the DeRisk-CO network, the event will be the occasion to discuss with the founding Director of the Oxford’s Spatial Finance Initiative the new research project, which intends to bring geo-spatial capabilities into financial analysis.
